What happens tO it?

You can drop off your used cooking oil and fats at Droppie all year round. Pouring them down the sink is never a good idea, as the fat solidifies and clumps together in the cold sewer pipes, leading to blockages.

Used cooking oil and fats still contain energy. The collected oil is processed into biodiesel through a chemical process known as transesterification. This biofuel can then be used to power vehicles or machinery.
