HOW?

You can pour your entire bag of empties into the bulk machine all at once. How fast? It easily processes over 100 bottles and cans per minute. Empty, cap still on, without dents.

What happens tO it?

After collection, the bottles and cans are immediately compacted to save space during transport to the sorting center.

The plastic bottles are washed and ground into pellets for new bottles, while the aluminum from cans is melted down into brand-new cans.

‍And so the story begins all over again!

Where can I return deposit items?

Every Droppie store in Amsterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, and Rotterdam has a bulk deposit machine where you can quickly drop off all your deposit items.

Where can I return glass bottles with a deposit?

Unfortunately, we do not accept glass bottles with a deposit.

Can I also return bottles without a deposit?

You can return plastic bottles without a deposit via the Dropbot and still receive a refund for them!
